| This is how I see the insane practice of putting the car in a place of almost iconic significance in our lives will ultimately impair the development of our race, although hopefully it will be something we can learn and recover from. The car is just a manifestation of poor community planning, greed (http://www.pbs.org/pov/pov1996/takenforaride/ ) (http://saveourwetlands.org/streetcar.htm ) and the siren call of convenience and consumption. Ultimately there will be a price to be paid but unfortunately the selfish and the self entitled that caused and are perpetuating this problem likely won't be around to pay the Piper. I believe in all likelihood that a large number of people are so self absorbed that they are not aware that their behavior and attitude of entitlement are pillars of the church of Satan. Are we going to take a terrestrial paradise and turn it into Hell on earth? Has the fire started? What are you going to do? Will there be a checkered flag? You tell me.....its your problem.... |
